Wish List Features That We Want To See in Google Pixel 5

Google Pixel 4 is a good phone with decent specs and a sleek design. It was surely a few steps ahead of its predecessor, Google Pixel 3. However, there is still room for improvement in some areas that we hope Google Pixel 5 will try to cover.

In this article, we have enlisted 5 such features that we want to see in the upcoming Google Pixel 5 phone. Here are the specs that we want Google to improve.

  1. An ultra-wide lens

Almost all the smartphone brands are now offering an ultra-wide lens in their latest models. Well, all but Google and we don’t know why it hasn’t introduced the ultra-wide lens. Although adding a telephoto lens was a nice move, an additional lens would be nice.

The inclusion of an ultra-wide lens will expand the versatility of the Pixel 5 phone. Not only it’ll improve Pixel's portrait photography but also make it a justifying smartphone.

  1. Fingerprint scanner

Google’s Pixel 4 didn’t have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and to much surprise, there wasn’t an in-screen finger sensor either. The company decided to go with the facial recognition system, and let’s just say it wasn’t a good decision.

Although some people like the idea of facial recognition, others find it frustrating to stare into the phone. So, we would appreciate if Google releases the Pixel 5 with facial recognition and fingerprint sensor.

  1. Expand the battery

Google must work on the Pixel 5 battery as its previous phones came with short battery lives. We don’t say it should be more than 5000mAh, but the company should think about expanding the battery in the Google Pixel 5. If the company wants to capture the bigger audience, it must add at least a 4,000mAh battery.

  1. Stick with the design

The Pixel 4 has an odd design, but it has unique looks as compared to its single-hued, dual-finish predecessors. So, we would love a phone that has a design not older than the Pixel 4. Pixel 5 won’t have a chance if Google decided to bring a design similar to the Pixel 3 phone.

  1. Add a microSD slot

Google’s efforts to push its users towards using cloud storage are egregious. People want to store data locally and there are many reasons behind it. Not all people have the network coverage or internet package suitable for cloud-based storage.

We think Google should ass a microSD card slot to the Pixel 5 phone. It won’t require many efforts, but this will be a good move to satisfy the needs of the customers.

We hope you agree with us on these wish list features. Let us know if you want to see any other additional features in the Google Pixel 5 phone.
